This Intex 2,650 Saltwater Sand Filter Pump automatically does everything you need to do to keep your pool Krystal Clear and has a super low operating cost. You will never have to buy and constantly replace expensive filter cartridges or buy and deal with harsh packaged chlorine again. The Intex 2,650 Gallon Sand / Saltwater Pool Filter utilizes inexpensive, natural sand to efficiently filter out particles in your pool water plus only needs replaced every 5 years. The Intex Saltwater System uses residential water softener salt in its unique two stage process to generate low levels of chlorine and copper ions to destroy and sanitize pool algae and bacteria. The amount of natural salt required in your pool will create salt levels at only one-tenth as much as ocean water, so swimmers won't see, feel, or smell any salt. They will only feel incredibly clean soft water.
